A lifelong Philadelphian and practicing attorney, Senoff’s work lives at the intersection of memory, environment, and justice. Influenced by the golden age of American photojournalism, he creates images that reflect societal shifts with honesty and depth. His work blends social commentary with quiet observation, often highlighting the visual residue of change.
“I document what we stand to lose, from abandoned towns to shifting political iconography, I’m drawn to spaces marked by human impact.”
Senoff's photographic journey began assisting at weddings and other milestone occasions, and continued in the darkroom, working as a photo lab technician where he gained hands-on experience with film processing, printing, and the technical demands of analogue photography. His images today reflect a dual discipline: emotionally resonant yet rigorously composed.
He shares his insights on the photographic medium through writing and via The Subconscious Photography Podcast. His work was previously exhibited as part of a group show at The Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece.
